The Nudura® standard block measures 8' long by 18" high. The polypropylene webs are located 8" on centre along the block.
There are steel pins located near the top and bottom of each web, allowing the block to fold flat on itself.
Foam thickness is 2 5/8" on each side, making the overall block width as follows:
The interlock design means there is no top or bottom, left or right direction.
The top of each web is designed to accept different rebar sizes from 10M to 20M. The rebar tabs are flexible so as to accept the different sizes - once the rebar is in position, it will not move when concrete is placed.
The standard block is also available unassembled, with webs that are inserted on site. The unassembled block is ideal where rebar congestion demands access to one side of the formwork.
The thermal value of the block is R24.
Nudura® also makes a Taper Top block where the foam thickness on one side is reduced to 3/4" between the webs. This allows structural loads from the stud wall above to be transfered directly to the concrete wall below.
However with the higher thermal performance now required by the City of Vancouver, we do not recommend this block as it leads to excessive heat lost at the ground level, exactly where the thermal gradient is the highest.
The Nudura® XR35 block measures 8' long by 18" high. The polypropylene webs are located 8" on centre along the block.

Foam thickness is 4" on each side, making the overall block width as follows:

Only the 8" wall thickness is available at this time.

The Nudura® brick ledge block measures 8' long by 18" high. The polypropylene webs are 8" on centre.
Foam thickness is 2 5/8", making the overall block width as follows:
The Taper Top used for covering the interlock at the top of a wall to protect it from concrete getting into the interlock.
The Nudura® Taper Top block measures 8' long by 18" high. The polypropylene webs are 8" on centre.
The brick ledge allows the wall to continue above the brick ledge while providing a concrete width of 3-7/8".
Nudura also manufactures a "brick ledge extension" which can be attached to the outside of a standard block using 6" screws and plastic washers. The foam is cut away between the webs to allow the concrete in the wall to flow into the ledge extension. The extension provides greater flexibility (can be installed at any height), however it is more labour intensive.
As the corner block is fully reversible, there is no separate left or right hand corner - you simply flip the block over.
The corners are available in 4", 6", 8", 10" and 12" concrete core sizes.
The deep 1" interlock which is at right angles to the direction of the form means that there is excellent resistance to corner blow out from the concrete pressure.
As the upper and lower webs interlock into each other, this provides additional strength in preventing the shearing of the foam interlocks at the corners.
For shipping, the web on the short end is slid out, enabling the corner to fold flat on itself, reducing the shipping size by over 50%. When ready to install, the end web is slid into position, obtaining rigidity for the corner.
Thermal performance is R24.

The VJH is used to joint the blocks together on the first two rows on top to the footing. This allows the first two rows to behave as a single beam so that you can easily determine the high and low parts of the footing. Once this has been achieved, it is easy to wedge up the low spots so that your first two levels are perfectly level. We recommend four VJHs for each ICF joint.
We recommend using two VJHs on each corner joint as you build the rest of the wall. There is no need to hooks in the middle of your wall
The Optimizer is sized 12" by 48" to enable wall heights in multiples of 18", 9", 12" and 6". There is no corner Optimizer currently available.
The block is designed to accept full hydraulic loading.
The height adjuster consists of two panels 3" high by 32" long. Four ties are inserted into the slots of each panel to create the block.

This form is sized 18" by 96" and is used where a concrete surface is desired on one side of the wall. Insulation values can be increased through the addition of inserts.
A special jig is available for rapid assembly on the jobsite.

Custom radius blocks are available from Nudura® in wall thicknesses from 4" to 12". The inside foam is custom cut at the factory to achieve the exact radius.
Sufficient lead time is required for the manufacturing process.
